Case study: Global technology outsourcing diagram
This “Whiteboard” diagram was developed for CIO Insight Magazine, a Ziff Davis publication. A four-page fold-out spread explains present and future global trends of technology outsourcing. Countries performing outsourcing work are ranked according to six risk factors compiled by the article’s authors.The design of this project uses value in a bar table of risk factors to show the data in a form that affords quick assessment. Differences in current outsourcing trends and future projections are shown by color differentiation (blue and purple copy and graphic elements). A 3D map provides an overview of countries involved in outsourcing.
