Case study: Product lifespan diagram
The product lifespan diagram is a visualization that describes the rise and fall of a product's popularity in the consumer marketplace. Based on a generalized adaptation of Geoffrey Moore's model for technology adoption from his book "Crossing the Chasm," the diagram however expands consideration to include the result and influence of evolving positive (pro) and negative (con) consumer perception as a factor to a product's success and eventual decline in popularity.
Conceived and designed by Luminant Design staff member William Bardel
