A visual summary of U.S. accessibility code for signs
The result of a 2-year effort to develop a visual guide to signage design requirements contained in the new 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design (formerly called the 2004 ADA Accessibility Guidelines or ADAAG). These standards have recently been approved by the U.S. Department of Justice and will be mandatory for public signage in the U.S. as of March 15, 2012.
